Share Your Success Tuesday

It’s Tuesday, which means it’s time to share our recent financial successes.

As you know from my Monday Check-In, I finally have my book tour and vacation travel booked! I was also doing some initial packing grid work and I realized that I’d have to for-sure check a bag, because even though I can get by using hotel shampoos and soaps, I’m still going to need to bring two weeks’ worth of sunscreen — and no, I can’t just rebuy TSA-friendly travel bottles every time I run out. (There are only a handful of sunscreens that both protect and don’t irritate my skin. So I gotta pack my own, to make sure I have it.)

So… well, the Alaska bag checks will be free, since I’m still using my Alaska Airlines credit card, but the two United flights will cost me. (They’ll also be tax-deductible, which is what I keep telling myself.)

Anyway. I’m babbling. One of these days I’ll do a full accounting of how I plan to Do Money on this trip, starting with “packing a small bottle of dishwashing liquid to wash both my clothes and my Huel shakers BUT NOT AT THE SAME TIME, EEW.”
