Do 1 Thing and Make the Call

It’s Thursday, which means it’s time to Do 1 Thing.

I already did my 1 thing for the day, which was to call my business bank account customer service department and ask if they knew what happened to the estimated tax payment I sent the Iowa Department of Revenue.

They told me that I needed to wait until Monday to see whether the payment would clear the account (I sent it a week ago today). If it hasn’t cleared by Monday, they told me to call the Iowa Department of Revenue to see if they’d rejected it, and if the payment hasn’t cleared and Iowa hasn’t rejected it, I should call them and request a stop payment.

So now I have another Do 1 Thing for Monday.
