Question Wednesday

It’s Wednesday, which means it’s time to pick out your financial questions.

Since we’re in the middle of our Clothing Series, I thought I’d ask: what’s your favorite article of clothing, and how much did you pay for it?

My very favorite item is the dress pictured above, which I bought in 2011 for (if I recall correctly) around $25. I was working at the think tank, and got to travel to Thailand to assist a team that was running a series of workshops, and I saw this dress hanging in a shop in Chiang Mai and bought it on impulse.

If I’m lucky, I get to wear it twice a year. It’s too formal for most summer activity and too white for weddings. I’ve worn it on dates, to fancy dinners, and while performing. I haven’t spilled anything on it yet, or stained it, and I’m going to try and keep it wearable for as long as possible.
