Do 1 Thing And Reward Yourself With A Free Hot Dog

Thursday is a great day to do that 1 thing you don’t want to do but also don’t want to continue thinking about doing.

It’s National Hot Dog Day, apparently! Good time for a classic Simpsons reference.

In honor of Hot Dog Day, the Huffington Post has compiled a nationwide round-up of places that are offering free or discounted wieners. So after you do your 1 thing, you can reward yourself by hitting up Sonic or 7-Eleven, or one of the participating regional purveyors of fine foods like Kangaroo Express. I meanwhile will saunter down Flatbush Avenue and overpay for something made out of organic and locally-sourced “happy” meat which qualifies as a hot dog only because it’s served in a bun. To each her own!

First though I will do my 1 thing which is to go to Target and deal with the fact that they sent me, by mail, two (2) of the exact same box of diaper pail liners I didn’t order or need. One I could stuff in a closet and use eventually, but two? At two I draw the line. So let’s go see if they give me a refund!
