This Poor Guy Really Hated His Job

A 28-year-old postman in Australia has plead guilty to theft charges after police found almost 10,000 pieces of undelivered mail in his bedroom:

In January, 2011, Australia Post was advised that a yellow mail delivery bag containing 755 unaddressed articles had been dumped in a rubbish bin in a West Sunshine street outside Baguio’s flat.

Checks found he was responsible for that mail and a search by investigators found a much larger amount of mail in his bedroom and on the floor of his flat.

Ms Eales said he later made admissions that included that he had been “too lazy” to deliver the mail, some of which he had opened.

I want to laugh, but I also feel for this guy. And by feel for him, I mean I want to both wish him the best and also suggest that someone out there turn this into a screenplay.
