Recruiting Via LinkedIn

He placed ads in local media outlets and inquired at area gemology programs, but after several weeks had failed to find any viable candidates. Then he went on LinkedIn and typed “gemologist or jewelry appraiser Toronto” into the search bar. LinkedIn is increasingly becoming a go-to resource for employers looking to hire workers in specific fields. Have you been contacted by headhunters on LinkedIn? I’ve been contacted by someone who asked me if I was interested in working at a hedge fund, and also by Google to work as an editor in their “offers” division (their Groupon-like program). I declined both.
