Friday Estimate

It’s Friday, which means it’s time to estimate our weekend spending.

Monday is Martin Luther King Jr. Day, so The Billfold will be doing its usual protocol of running a news roundup in the morning (so y’all have something to read/discuss) and then taking the rest of the day off. We’ll check in with our spending on Tuesday.

This weekend, I anticipate spending 45 cents to print the chorale singer contract and committee sign-up doc at the library (which I need to fill out and sign before Sunday’s rehearsal), as well as $62.50 on dues, $30 on a former member’s concert outfit that might fit me (which means that yes, I did not do my 1 Thing of ordering that outfit yesterday, but I did the 1 Thing of maybe finding a less expensive way of getting one), and $10 on jewelry rental (chorale women wear matching strings of pearls).

Of course, the snowstorm we’re expected to get this weekend could change everything. We’ll see.

Total estimate: $102.95.
