Friday Estimate

It’s Friday, which means it’s time to estimate our weekend spending.

This weekend, I’m getting the massage that was canceled last week. I just checked the website and there’s a note indicating that costs went up as of November 26; the 60-min massage will now be $74 before tip, but I’m hoping I can still get pre-Nov-26 costs since I was supposed to get the massage on the 25th, as well as use my $15 “birthday month” coupon even though it’ll no longer be my birthday month. We’ll see.

I’m also teaching a writing class in Iowa City; last time it cost $85.03 for Lyfts back and forth, so I’m guessing it’ll be the same this time. (The bus between Cedar Rapids and Iowa City now runs every day but Sunday, which means that in the future I will make sure to schedule all of my classes on days that aren’t Sunday. This time, I’ll take the Lyfts and claim the tax deduction.)

I also need to do exactly $0.75 of printing at the library before my class.

Total estimate: $150.75.
