Monday Check-In

It’s Monday, which means it’s time to check in on our weekend spending.

Last weekend, I estimated that I would spend $20 on groceries, and I spent $18.50.

I also planned to attend the local March For Our Lives, but we had a Winter Storm Emergency on Saturday — Cedar Rapids got 7 inches of snow in about 6 hours — and I assumed that, since we were in whiteout conditions, the march would be canceled. It wasn’t, and I felt a little badly for not bundling up and heading outside, especially now that I’ve heard about the students who are planning to march for 50 miles to Paul Ryan’s hometown.

But anyway.

Total spending: $18.50.
