Monday Check-In

It’s Monday, which means it’s time to check in with our weekend spending.

Last Friday, I estimated that I would spend $6 on laundry and I spent $6 on laundry.

I estimated that I would spend $50 on a Lyft ride to the airport and $5 on a bottle of water (to mix with Huel and drink on the plane), and I spent $46 on the Lyft ride and $2.96 on the bottle.

I didn’t realize I’d need to pay $12.95 for internet access inside the Sheraton—had that changed since last year or did I just forget it in my excitement about the hotel robot?—so I paid $12.95.

I estimated that I would spend $50 on Lyfts in Los Angeles, and I spent $55. I also estimated I would spend $40 on food, and I spent $28.58.

Total spending: $151.49.
