We haven’t done a Job of the Day in forever, but you won’t want to miss this one. From Cancun.com:

We are seeking an outgoing, authentic, and dynamic individual (or team) to represent the amazing destination of Cancun as our CEO – Cancun Experience Officer. As the CEO, you’ll be sent to live in one of the most beautiful destinations on the planet for six months to tell stories through videos, photographs, and words. You’ll get paid to dive into the culture, charm, and wonder of Cancun and share your experiences with a worldwide audience.

How much will they pay you? $10,000 per month.

The job is six months long, but has the possibility to turn into a more permanent gig:

While the CEO is a 6-month position, at the conclusion of the program, we will evaluate the CEO’s performance for potential to remain an employee of Cancun.com in some capacity.

When you read the Terms and Conditions for the “Cancun.com CEO Search” Campaign, you learn that this is one of those deals where Cancun.com wants a bunch of people to apply and to “mobilize audiences” to vote for their application. In other words, you’ll be publicly, enthusiastically advertising for Cancun.com even before you ever get the job. Also, Cancun.com gets a non-exclusive five-year license to keep and reuse all of the content you create as part of your application, which means they’re getting a lot of free high-quality video.

But hey, someone—or some team, you can apply as a team—will end up getting $60,000 and six months in Cancun.
