Share Your Success Tuesday

It’s Tuesday, which means it’s time to share our recent financial successes.
I don’t have any really big financial wins to share, but here are some smaller ones:
- When I hosted my Fourth of July party, I told myself it was okay to buy compostable plates and flatware instead of the less expensive disposable ones. This is a financial win for THE EARTH, assumedly. (Also, I couldn’t use my own plates/flatware because I don’t own enough to go around.)
- When I taught my Hugo House classes this weekend, I chose to take the hour-long bus ride home, buy groceries, and then have dinner instead of paying $11–20 for some fast-casual restaurant meal.
- I’m still using my Safeway and Walgreens apps, and they’re still saving me money. This week I got $3 off my purchase of $20! That’s like $3 in free food, plus it offsets the cost of compostable plates and flatware!
What about you?
