Monday Check-In

Happy Monday! Most of my weekend was sunny and gorgeous, so I’m starting this week in a really good mood. Maybe because of that—and maybe because I just read The Value of Debt in Building Wealth, more on that in a few hours—I didn’t spend a lot this weekend.

I estimated that I would spend under $50 on groceries, but then I decided to do a larger grocery haul and stock up on items like oatmeal and beans. I spent $59.35.

I estimated that I would spend $5.75 on laundry, and I spent $5.75.

I also spent $20 to reload my bus card.

I spent $7.93 at the FedEx to get some sample pages of my novel printed, so I could confirm the paperback layout was what I wanted. (There’ll be an official print proof later, but this was a good pre-proof.)

I did not buy shoes.

Total spending: $93.03.

How about you?
