Last night I checked my phone right before I went to bed—like you do—I was rewarded by a new podcast notification. Gaby Dunn’s “Bad With Money” is back.
A quick recap, if you didn’t hear all of us rave about “Bad With Money” on The Billfold last year: Gaby Dunn is a writer/actor/comedian who began her podcast because she wanted to have an honest conversation about money:

This season, Dunn is moving from personal conversations about individual financial issues—you might remember the episode where she talked to Rhea Butcher and Cameron Esposito about the way clothing influences your career, for example—to larger-scale conversations about areas in which personal finance is fundamentally flawed.
Starting with student loans.
I am about halfway through this podcast—Dunn announced that Season 2 would have fewer episodes, but significantly longer ones—and I have already learned so much about student loans, including the fact that you can negotiate your aid package. (Which few people do, apparently.)
