Happy Friday! Let’s estimate how much we’re going to spend this weekend.

I feel like it’s going to be a low-spend weekend for me, except for the $7 I plan to spend on two loads of laundry.

I was reading this Business Insider story about a woman who tried to live on talia jane’s Yelp salary, and she said she only spent $8 on laundry all month and she did wash-and-fold.

A Yelp employee publicly complained to the CEO that she couldn’t afford to buy groceries – and I tried living on her salary to see how true that is

Why am I not taking advantage of $8 wash-and-fold? (Maybe because I can’t find a wash-and-fold service in town that’ll do laundry for just $8. They’re all “$1.75/lb, 10-lb minimum.”)

Anyway, it’s going to be me and my laundry this weekend, re-reading Harriet the Spy.
