Monday Check-In

Mozart in the Jungle

It’s Monday, so let’s check in on our weekend spending.

This weekend, I estimated that I would spend $130 on various items, including a haircut, a potential Valentine’s Day treat, and laundry.

I ended up spending $64 on my haircut, which represents a $29 cut and a $35 tip.

I spent $16.96 on a Lyft back to my apartment after the haircut, because it had started raining earlier that afternoon and I had already done the “wait by bus stops in the pouring rain” thing (my hair was wet enough, when I arrived at the salon, that they didn’t need to wash it).

I also spent $3.50 on laundry, as predicted.

I did not walk to the grocery store to buy myself a Valentine’s Day treat; instead, I treated myself to staying inside (where it was warm and dry) and binging the second season of Mozart in the Jungle.

Total spending: $84.46.

How about you?
