What a weekend — let’s check in.

On Saturday, I figured out what to get the baby for her first birthday, and it was a baby board book version of Pride and Prejudice along with a nice hardcover version she can read years from now (with the note about Elizabeth Bennet I wrote inside). I caught up with some friends at the party, ordered take out, and quietly prayed for my friend’s safe return from Paris while I cared for her old cat. My estimate was $130 and I spent $109.51.
