It’s a nightmare: In debt to recruitment firms who got them the jobs, they are working without pay in deplorable conditions. They’re also dying; 44 workers died in three months from heart attacks, heart failure, and workplace accidents. (“There is no longer a risk that the World Cup might be built on forced labour.
