Monday Check-in

Good morning! The weather has been excellent lately. Let’s check in.

I ended up not being able to find a few of the books I wanted to buy at the bookstore, so I’m going to buy them on Amazon later, though I did manage to find one ($14.14). I met up with my friend visiting from out of town for lunch at the Black Tree down in the Lower East Side, and shared a kale salad, a pork sandwich with spicy blueberry jam (pictured), a beer, and an ice cream sandwich ($25). The grocery store run ended up being $61.87. I had estimated $140 and spent $101.01, but I still have to buy some books, so I’m pretty much on target.
