Monday Check-in

Good morning! It was really good to have a few days off, but now we’re back, and I spent all of my money over the weekend. Let’s check in.

My Fourth of July was spent with good friends, eating good food, drinking good cider (who knew Stella Artois made a cider?), and having a lot of good conversations. I attended a housewarming/farewell-for-now party, and also saw The Bling Ring which ended up being a really fun movie. It was also nice to take refuge from the blazing heat by being in an airconditioned theater. Money spent at the grocery store for food for various gatherings: $154.32. Money spent on ice cream and iced drinks: $20.28. Movie ticket: $0, thanks to a free pass. I had estimated $200 and ended up spending $174.60.
