It took me a bit of time to go through your responses, put them in their designated categories and get them in a chart, but here are the results. The responses were broken up into individual spending, so anyone who answered as a couple got their expenses divided in half. First up, what you spend on public transportation:

There answers varied greatly, and for good reason: We own different cars, take different transportation systems, receive different transportation subsidies, and live in different parts of the country. One thing was pretty clear: those with cars tended to pay a lot more.
