Why NVC Didn’t Sleep in Zuccotti Park

Over at Bookforum, Natasha Vargas-Cooper writes that she doesn’t particularly care for Occupy or Todd Gitlin’s new book about it! Vargas-Cooper has a union and organizing background (we talked about it a bit when we talked about her money), and she writes that the Gitlin’s book highlights why she “never pitched a tent” — because Occupy was more about “spirit and identity” and less about strategy.
