The Job Seeker Who Had Enough

What would you do if you wanted to work for a sports team, had completed graduate work in sports commerce, and applied to 30 jobs for said sports team — including one selling tickets at the stadium for minimum wage — and were turned down for all of them? You’d probably be disheartened. And then what if this sports team emailed you thanking you for applying to previous positions with the team, and that they’d like to offer you an opportunity to pay $495 to attend a job fair they’re having? You’d probably be incredibly angry. You might decide to reply with an amazing letter knowing that you’re burning a bridge, but you’re done with them, and no longer care. And it might actually get a few employers interested in hiring you, because they like your boldness.
