Make Your Own: Naan Pizzas
by Duretti Hirpa

Home-cooked meals are usually cheaper — and healthier — than eating out. What are you making at home, Duretti Hirpa?
Can I just tell you about this thing that has changed my lunch-bringing life?
Naan pizzas.
They are fancy, but deceptively easy to make, and if you have a toaster oven at work, you can easily resuscitate it, and it’s just as delicious as when you first made it.
Ingredients:
• Pesto (I use store-bought because I can’t be bothered to make my own pesto, though I hear making your own pesto is the bomb diggity)
• Goat cheese
• Mushrooms (sauteed in garlic, olive oil, and salt)
• Arugula (or another green, like spinach to top)

Spread the pesto on the naan, put your toppings on, and pop into the oven for 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Blammo. Now you’ve got a delicious meal (in about 20 minutes) and it looks fancy as hell too. I make mine vegetarian, because I am one, but there is nothing stopping you from putting chicken or whatever meat product your little heart desires.

That’s it! Enjoy.

Duretti Hirpa’s current hobby is trying to make food that looks as delicious as it tastes — one of two isn’t bad, right?
