Do 1 Thing Before You Sing

It’s Thursday, which means it’s time to Do 1 Thing.

If you’re a Patreon subscriber who regularly reads my weekly patron-exclusive newsletter (which you should read, if only because it includes the Billfold Comment of the Week), you might remember my mentioning that I was going to audition for a choir in January.

I am now a member of Chorale Midwest, which means I need to update my YNAB budget to include annual dues — plus, today I need to order my concert dress, which unfortunately cannot be the same floor-length black dress I bought to sing in the Ragtime concert choir. (This is probably “fortunately,” because I bought the cheapest Amazon dress I could find and it would very likely fall apart after another few wearings.)
