Friday Estimate

It’s Friday, which means it’s time to estimate how much we’re going to spend this weekend.

I think I’ll walk or bike over to the HyVee on Saturday because I’m out of Scotch tape, I need a new notebook, and I might get some stuff to bake gingerbread cookies. I’m weighing the “support a local bakery” option vs. “have the pleasure of accidentally burning cookies in your own home.”

I’ll also be attending Orchestra Iowa’s Holiday Spectacular concert this weekend (I already paid $18 for the ticket), and there’s going to be a pre-show reception with Santa and free food, and even though I know it’s designed for children I am probably still going for the free food. (And, you know, to say hello to people and support the community.)

Total estimate: $10.
