Do 1 Thing Because the Holidays Are Practically Upon Us

It’s Thursday, which means it’s time to Do 1 Thing.

Today, my 1 Thing is to get Mannheim Steamroller tickets because they are playing Cedar Rapids in December and I already budgeted for the tickets in YNAB. (The first album I ever bought with my allowance money was Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, but Christmas in the Aire was, like, the third — although I don’t honestly remember whether I bought the cassette myself or asked my parents to buy it as a gift. Either way, preteen Nicole spent a lot of time rocking out under her generic Walkman foam headphones.)
