Friday Estimate

It’s Friday, which means it’s time to estimate our weekend spending.

I’m not sure what I’ll end up spending this weekend. My parents and I are spending Easter Sunday at the nursing home; it’s an all-day trip because my aunt is in the nursing home in my childhood hometown (in Missouri, not Iowa). So maybe I’ll end up buying a snack when we stop at a gas station? Who knows.

I also might buy another succulent this weekend; my jade plant (aka “the money plant,” which I love) and my Perle Von Nürnberg echeveria are thriving, but my Black Prince echeveria has lost nearly all of its leaves and, unlike the Perle, is not putting out new growth. The stem doesn’t look rotten, so I don’t think it’s fully dead, but I’m debating how long I’m going to let this plant figure out its deal before I… well, I guess I’d be murdering it.
