It’s Wednesday, which means it’s time to thaw out those financial questions.

Today, I’m taking my inspiration from this week’s Oh My Dollar! podcast: where do you keep your emergency fund?

Mine is in my savings account, which currently earns 1 percent APY. But I could go shopping for a better savings account (Google claims I could get as much as 1.50 percent APY, which is an extra $5.06 in annual interest for every $1,000 in the account) or move it to a money market account.
