Monday Check-In

It’s Monday, which means it’s time to check in with our weekend spending.

Last Friday, I estimated that I would spend $5.75 on laundry, and I spent $6.25. (I may need to add a few more quarters to my weekly laundry estimate; cold-weather clothes take longer to dry.)

I also estimated that I would spend $13 on groceries; I spent $14.26 because there was a sale on yogurt and I decided to buy two quarts of yogurt instead of one.

Then I spent $20 on my tutoring center’s fundraiser and $5 on the Oh My Dollar! Kickstarter. Those weren’t part of my Friday Estimate but they were part of my larger monthly budget, so… that’s okay.

Total spending: $45.51.
