It’s Tuesday, which means it’s time to share our recent financial successes.

Last week, I set myself the goal of figuring out how much I was going to put into my Roth IRA this year. I did the math and figured out I could contribute the $5,500 maximum, which—after I quipped that despite my 15 percent savings rate, “wealth seems really far away”—also prompted a Billfold discussion about what wealth meant to us.
