Monday Check-In

Happy Monday! I did end up spending part of Saturday at the Greater Seattle Bureau of Fearless Ideas, making posters for next week’s Science March (my favorite one reads “I am not a scientist, which is why we need scientists”) and now I am ready to check in on our weekend spending.
I estimated I would spend $50 on groceries, and I spent $39.55.
I also estimated I would spend $5.75 on laundry, and I spent $5.75.
I didn’t know if this expense would happen during the weekend or on Monday, so I didn’t add it into my estimation, but I did spend $49 to set up the paperback edition of The Biographies of Ordinary People in IngramSpark. (Once they approve the files and I approve the proof, the paperback will be available to any person, bookstore, or library who wants to order a copy.)
That was all my spending for the weekend, although I took advantage of Amazon’s free HBO trial period so I could watch the final season of Girls.
Total spending: $94.30.
How about you?
