What Impulse Buy Turned Out to Be a Great Purchase?

Not all impulses are bad.

Yesterday, we looked at some of our biggest spending regrets—and there’s this theory that impulse buys often lead to regrets, because we’re buying stuff without thinking first (or looking for better options, or shopping for deals), but I don’t necessarily agree. Some impulse buys turn out to be great purchases.

So that’s today’s QOTD: what was your best impulse buy? What do you regularly thank yourself for purchasing? In my case, it might be my jean jacket, my floppy sun hat, my favorite pair of dangly earrings… okay, they’re all clothes and accessories. Probably because if I love something enough to buy it without planning ahead, it’s going to be a wardrobe favorite for a long time.

What about you?
