I Have New Towels Now

They do in fact dry quickly!

THAT STAIN ON THE SIDE OF MY BATHTUB DOES NOT SCRUB OFF, I TRIED

So my new towels and bathmat arrived this week—$68.07 for four bath towels, four hand towels, and one bathmat—and yes, I should have bought these months ago.

The towels are JCPenney Home Quick-Dri Solid Bath Towels, and they’re probably quick-dry because only half of the towel is towel? The other half is, like, towel air vents.

So yeah, these towel waffles do dry fairly quickly, although it took me a full morning to realize that “quick-dry” means “in an hour,” not “in five minutes.” (I had really high hopes.)

The bathmat is a JCPenney Home Ultra Soft Quick-Dri Bath Rug, and it does not dry as quickly as the towels do. The color was supposed to match the towels but instead kinda looks like someone skinned a Muppet, which makes me smile every time I walk into my bathroom, which probably makes me a terrible person.

Anyway: replacing old junky stuff with better stuff! Definitely a good choice if you can afford it! Also, these quick-dry towels live up to their name.
