Monday Check-In

It’s the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown!

Happy Monday! By the end of this week, I’ll be headed to San Diego for the JoCo Cruise. (So excited.)

How did you all do on your weekend estimates?

I estimated that I would spend $200 on a massage, and I spent $196.88.

I also estimated that I would spend $14 on dinner afterwards, and I spent $27.75. (I ordered dessert.)

I estimated I would spend $20 on groceries, and I spent $0. I’ll go grocery shopping this evening after I do my tutoring session with the Greater Seattle Bureau of Fearless Ideas.

I didn’t estimate I would spend anything on laundry, because I thought I was going to do groceries yesterday and laundry today, but I swapped ’em and spent $6.25 on laundry.

I spent $20 on a Lyft pass. More about that later today.

I also spent $2.18 to stream It’s the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown in preparation for the next episode of Molly Lewis and Josh A. Cagan’s podcast Peanuts Gallery, where they look at both classic and forgotten Peanuts specials and see how well they hold up.

Weekend estimate: $234

Actual spending: $253.06

How about you?
