Friday Estimate

Wedding edition.

Hey, it’s Friday, we did it, let’s do it, let’s talk about spending money.

This weekend, I have to go to a wedding in Vermont so I already know what some of the costs are going to be. My share of the rental car is a very reasonable $37.40; the hotel we’re staying in is $125. Everything else is up in the air; I bet I’ll spend $25 on road snacks and probably $50–60 during the day before the wedding and the morning after. I will try my hardest to avoid buying anything that is unnecessary, including books, magazines and a beach towel from the Pendleton outlet. That puts me at a solid $247.40 for the weekend. Optimistic!

What about you?
