Monday Check-In

Mon-YAY doesn’t have quite the same ring to it, does it?
Let’s check in on our weekend spending!
On Friday in New York, I dropped $7.75 on breakfast, $4.63 on an afternoon iced beverage, loaded another $10 on my metro card, and left $20 on the counter at a friends’ place as penance for the wine and Mexican food I purloined.
I snuck out of the country and back home with minimal damage: $5.63 on some yogurt and granola at the Newark airport and a $15.75 cab ride from the Toronto City airport so I could make it to my brunch and ballet date.
I rounded out the weekend with groceries ($34.21) and gas ($42.40), for a grand total of $140.37. I estimated $150, so I’m patting myself on the back.
And you?
