Do the #1 Best-Selling Thing

It’s Thursday, which means it’s time to Do 1 Thing.

This Thursday, my 1 Thing is to buy a bottle of Kaboom Shower Guard, aka “that stuff you spray on the shower after you’re done so you don’t get soap scum and mildew.”

I was going to get a bottle when I went to the grocery store, but they were out of Kaboom Shower Guard and I had to settle for a different brand that was slightly cheaper and advertised itself as the “#1 Best-Selling” shower spray, which I noticed even then did not mean the same thing as BEST.

That other shower spray is terrible. It smells like chemicals, and I know (to quote Hank Green) that everything is chemicals, but this smells like the kind of thing you’d imagine when you think “smells like chemicals.” It’s the kind of smell that sticks to your throat and your eyes.

I am still airing out my entire house. This stuff is disgusting. #1 BEST THROWN AWAY.
