Friday Estimate

Happy Friday! Let’s estimate how much we plan to spend this weekend.

This is ECCC weekend in Seattle (all those Cs stand for Emerald City Comic-Con) and while I’m not participating in the convention directly, I am going to a bunch of shows and events around the convention.

The show tickets are already purchased, so I’m not going to count them in my estimate, but I bet I’ll eat at least one restaurant meal per day on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I’ll estimate $40 times three, or $120 for food. ($40 may be high for an individual meal but that’ll also cover drinks and snacks and food-related surprises.)

I will also probably take Lyft or Uber at least once, so let’s add another $40 for that.

Then let’s just round everything up and say I’m going to spend $200 this weekend.
