Friday Estimate

It’s Friday, which means it’s time to estimate our weekend spending.

I know that I need to do two loads of laundry, which means I’ll spend $7 on washing/drying.

I had also planned to make a batch of slow-cooker chicken noodle soup this weekend, but when I went to the grocery store I forgot to buy stock, so… $2 for the stock, and probably another $7 for the birthday cards I need to buy, and $3 for a pack of ChapStick (because it’s smart to replace your ChapStick and your toothbrush after you have a cold, and I don’t have any extra ChapStick lying around) and… ugh, let’s just say $25 on grocery store stuff.

I’m going to estimate $50 total, just in case something else comes up—but I hope it’ll be closer to $40.

I’m also going to estimate that I’ll spend four hours cleaning my apartment.
