Monday Check-in

Good morning! It’s beginning to warm up — aren’t you as glad as I am? Let’s check in.

I received the last tax document I was waiting on in the mail, so I spent a part of this weekend doing taxes (good news for me: the estimated tax payments I made last year covered what I would have owed the IRS). I bowed out on drinks and a dinner out with some pals to run some errands and catch up on work I’ve been avoiding since coming back from my trip. Groceries were $55, and I bought breakfast at a neighborhood café (pictured) while test-piloting a new app that gave me a free cappuccino ($10). My estimate was $50 and I spent $65.
