Monday Check-in

Good morning! Let’s check in.

I spent Saturday morning so focused on work that when I looked up at the clock, I found myself racing to catch a cab to meet my friends in Brooklyn for lunch at the Margot’s Pizza pop-up ($31 + $45 for the cab because I wanted to give the driver a nice holiday tip). After We then decided to head to a cozy place to hang out and chat where I had a Michelada, mulled wine and an apple cider doughnut ($26). We walked through the city while my friends stopped in a few shops to buy holiday gifts, and then, because we didn’t have enough pizza, ordered a pie at John’s ($20). I spent most of Sunday holed up doing work. My estimate was $150 and I spent $122.
