Yay! Great Homes and Destinations time. This week we learn what we can get for $1,500,000, which includes sixty acres in Colorado, some industrial space in New Orleans, and oooh “a shingled house” (better than a house with shingles) in Rhode Island:

Three bedroom, two bath, 1500-square-foot house in Park City, Utah, where the skiing is, for $475,000, via Zillow. Look at that hammock. Isn’t that alone worth half a million? I pity whoever has to settle for that uncomfortable looking wooden bench. Anyway, house includes outdoor space in the front and back, as well as an upgraded kitchen, handsome hardwood floors, and mountain views. (Well, duh, that’s what you’re there for, right?)

Or perhaps you are interested in the most expensive condo in Arkansas? Three bedroom, two bath, 1700-square-foot luxury apartment in Little Rock, Arkansas, on a golf course, for $499,000, via Zillow. The styling is what you might call intense: the full slideshow should come with a seizure warning, and I half expect those candelabras to jump up and start dancing like that scene in Beauty and the Beast. But it is spacious and super modern, and the complex comes with a lovely pool.
