How Much Do You Spend on Electricity Each Month?

New survey question this morning! Before the summer heat begins to crank up and we respond by cranking up our air conditioners (or turning on our fans, or buying blocks of ice to sit on), let’s talk about what our electric bills are each month. Obviously, the more people you have in your household turning on lights and using gadgets, the higher your bill will be, so make a note of that.

I’ll start: I am a single person in a studio space, which minimizes that amount of energy I use. My electric bill for the last billing month was $35.07 (in the summer with the a/c unit on, it gets up to about $50 a month).
