Friday Estimate

It’s Friday, which means it’s time to estimate our weekend spending.

This weekend is Cedar Rapids’ annual Houby Days, a celebration of the city’s Czech heritage and culture. There’ll be music, dancing, plenty of kolaches and other treats, plus a parade and a carnival. (I’ve been watching them set up the carnival rides for the past few days.)

How much will I spend? I don’t know. I haven’t yet seen how much the snacks and carnival rides cost. Part of me is all “it’ll totally be under $20, right?” and the other part is “hahahahaha no it won’t.”

But I’ll estimate $20 anyway.
