A Friday Chat About Writing and Money

I don’t have anyone scheduled for the Friday Chat today, so I’m sharing a different kind of conversation.

You might be aware that I have a podcast called Writing & Money, where I give freelance advice and talk about the various ways writers can earn cash. Last week, I got to interview Paulette Perhach — whom Billfolders will know as the woman who gave us the phrase “Fuck Off Fund” — about her writing career, her time in the Peace Corps, and her career advice both for writers and for anyone who wants to try something new.

Paulette also has a book coming out: Welcome to the Writer’s Life: How to Design Your Writing Craft, Writing Business, Writing Practice, and Reading Practice, which I’ve already pre-ordered.
