Do 1 Thing to Protect Your Head and Hands

It’s Thursday, which means it’s time to Do 1 Thing IN A NEW TIME SLOT! (Let me know if this time slot works for all of you! We discussed putting these posts later in the day in yesterday’s comment thread, so people on both coasts could participate.)

My bike helmet is supposed to arrive today, and I’m also going to see if my local bike shop sells winter-ready biking gloves. I’ve been doubling up two pairs of wool gloves, but my fingers still get really cold when I ride in below-freezing weather. I’m hoping the bike shop guys can either sell me some better gloves or recommend a good pair.

Yes I know I’m starting on the slippery slope towards pouring money into bike stuff. Good thing I identified my financial values and decided this type of spending would bring me joy!
