Share Your Success Tuesday

It’s Tuesday, which means it’s time to share our recent financial successes.
Last week I did achieve my goal of figuring out whether I was spending more money on groceries now that I downloaded that Safeway deals app, and in theory I’ve achieved a subgoal of “having enough groceries that I won’t need to buy staple foods in August.”
But my real financial success is paying off the $2,535.15 balance on my Chase Ink business credit card. Yes, it had a 0 percent intro APR and I could have spread those payments out over time and saved the money I wasn’t immediately putting towards the card. Rushing to pay off a no-interest loan isn’t playing by The Value of Debt’s rules.
I’m still glad I did it.
