Tuesday Check-In

Happy Tuesday! Let’s check in and see how much we spent this weekend.

I estimated that I would spend $60 on dinner and brunch out—I ended up grabbing the rides and not the meals, and spent $19.87 on a Lyft and $25 on an actual taxi. (It smelled like high school gym class.)

I estimated I would spend $7 on laundry, and I spent $7 on laundry.

I estimated I’d spend $80 on groceries, and I spent $77.79 on groceries and $30.09 on takeout the night before. (Yes, I should have gone grocery shopping right away instead of ordering dinner, but I didn’t. Also the food I ordered didn’t turn out to be very good, so I got doubly punished for my lack of financial prudency.)

I also estimated $600 on flights/hotels for the JoCo Cruise in March, and spent $266.40 on a roundtrip SEA-SAN flight and $215.75 on the hotel.

Total estimated spending: $747

Total actual spending: $641.90

How about you?
