Let’s check in and see how we did this weekend.

On Friday, I estimated that I’d spend a solid $247.50 over this weekend of weddings and travel. Because I spent most of my free time in the bridal suite with my friends while she talked about flowers and got false eyelashes for the first time, I didn’t really do anything except that and go to the wedding and all its attendant events. I spent a very respectable $194.73 — basically just the car, the hotel, some road snacks and one beer upon arrival.
